OVERALL JOB PURPOSE: Process accounts payable and general office clerical and secretarial assignments in a timely manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Process invoices for payment into computerized accounts payable system and manage the related reports
- Resolve invoice problems with various supervisory individuals, vendors, and warehouse personnel
- Maintain files and documents
- Reconcile vendor statements
- Perform other clerical tasks as needed
- Monitor front gate traffic; greet vendors and customers in front desk area
- Assist with Vendor/Contractor Hazard Training
PREFERRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- 2-3 years of successful accounts payable experience
- Associates Degree in Business or Accounting
- Must be a self-starter requiring minimal supervision
- Proven competent organizational and computer skills
- Proven proficiency in Word, Excel and data entry
- Effective verbal and written communications skills
- Proven interpersonal skills
- Experience with automated accounts payable systems is a plus
